Our goal:

Our goal is to have the most complete and updated website for the expatriate community in Thailand regarding visas and immigration issues. Currently we have around 4,000,000 page views per month and around 400,000 unique visitors per month.

Why do we run this web site?

The Thai Authorities have a very limited presence on the internet, and some content is old and not updated for ages. Many official Thai websites still have even wrong information. We want to change that!

Thaivisa.com is your companion, your fresh reference guide in Thailand!

Who we are:

This website is managed from abroad, and not within Thailand. We are a group of ten senior expats in Thailand and abroad, with a wealth of combined local knowledge about the Red Tape in Thailand (60 years +).

We are NOT in the visa business.

Our network contains of expats with expert knowledge, persons working with Immigration and Labour issues in Thailand, in Embassies and Consulates around the world, and persons related to these Ministries of Foreign Affairs, and others.

NOTE: This website is not affiliated with the Immigration Bureau or the Thai Government.

The tech bits:

This website runs on Linux/php/Apache server and is optimized for use with Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0, Mozilla or Netscape 6.0 or above. The website management software is Joomla. The forum is running the Invisionboard Power Board software.
